"I completely stripped my boat 18 months ago, applied 8 coats of Bristol Finish and it still looks perfect. I did a lot of research and found a lot of Florida people who had been redoing their varnish every 6 months to keep it new looking were able to go 3 or 4 times as long with Bristol Finish. I had to strip off the Cetol so I was down to bare wood and it was just as easy to apply Bristol Finish. Another benefit is being able to apply it at just about any temp or humidity. At my marina there are several refinishers working all the time and they don't want to use it because they won't get the refinish job every year like they do now."
